I think the best Murcie kit has to be the Extreme, but I dont know if they ever made an LP640 version, and the shipping is very expensive. The next best would be the Carkitinc Murcielago, but it needs alot of work as well.
You still have to locate an interior, the ones from Carkit are terrible. |

I've seen someone on extreme's forum get lp640 parts for their build from them. Doesn't seem to be many.
@Chase who else sells the interior? I was going to get it from carkitinc >_<
Maybe if I go to pick it up they'll give me a better quality set? :S
I don't really want to buy from outside of the US
I've been wondering where you were by the way so I can ask if you still have your build diary up anywhere as I never got to see it
Thanks, Bryan |

| Tallon, you are not far from a guy who builds the best Murcie body out there. John Watson. He is in Northern GA. You can reach him at fiero88@aol.com I am about an hour and a half north of you and I have watson and carkitinc bodies here if you want to compare. John is more expensive, but you get what you pay for most of the time. |

Yea I was thinking about AD kit especially since he's so close to me but it is expensive and I'm not sure if I can barrow that much money for a personal item lol
I have seen it though and the quality looks the best by far. |

| Please no offense, I only say this because I don't want to see you have any issues but if you have to borrow the money for a body you may want to consider building something less expensive like a 355 or a cobra. Diablos are expensive to build to a high level and Murcies are much higher yet. OE headlights are $7k. Tail lights another $3k if you want that kind of quality. Please no offense, be smart and make yourself a realistic budget and then decide. |

I meant if I was going to spend $12,500 on a body that's probably what I'd have to do but that's why I was looking at the $6k one where I wouldn't have to do that. I don't mind doing the work I was mostly worried about the interior from Ckinc.
I think I'm the same distance from carkitinc as I am to AD.
Most people don't use OE headlights do they? I was thinking they used donor parts or aftermarket that look close to it.
Either way this is a very long project I'd prefer to have what I can get and add oem parts over time making it better over the years. I'm in no rush but I would like to get a body soon at least.
Thanks for your advice,
Bryan |

| Most use OE tail lights because they are soo nice and no replica one comes close. I have several builds that all all using OE headlights, and mirrors, kind of the same deal, you can tell OE from replica from about 50 feet. AD and extreme both use OE windshields which are a couple grand minimum. The compremises of the CarKit or G28 copies is the nose is long to use the nissan windshield and the doors are short and turns out the qtrs are too making the car a little short. None of it is a big deal. Don't get me wrong, it can and has been built into a beautiful car but the title was what's the best kit, so in my opinion, John Watson. But difficult, expensive, and need OE lights and glass. Good luck and you are welcome to come see me, I'm a little over an hour from Savannah. There is a Carkit inc body here that is a roadster, customer is likely going to sell it soon as I am building him a car with a watson front clip and he and I have gathered the rest of the roadster parts OE. |

I didn't know AD even came with the interior does it?
I think I'd rather wait until he comes out with the SV LP670 style if I was to go with his. He said something about that not sure if he still is. |
